Amazon Prime has picked up on a 2011 documentary on the legendary elBulli restaurant and has made it available on demand as a 15-part series.

ElBullli: The Story of a Dream documents how the Adrià brothers turned an unassuming French eatery in Roses on Spain's Costa Brava into the world’s most innovative restaurant, one which held three Michelin stars from 1997 until its closure in 2011 and topped the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list five times.

We’ve dug around and managed to find a related trailer, albeit in Spanish, that should give you a good idea what to expect. Watch it below.

Ferran Adrià recently told the Agence France-Presse that he has no intention of cooking in a restaurant again, despite a supervisory role at the new Condividere restaurant in Turin.

He has of course helped brother Albert launch a number of restaurants in Barcelona, including Ticketsand Enigma, but his main projects currently include a 35-volume food encyclopaedia (Bullipedia) and the long awaited opening of elBulli 1846, a cooking and research centre, on the site of elBulli.
