Food Meets Art at World's 50 Best in Bilbao

ALAIN PASSARD AND MASSIMO BOTTURA STAR IN 'FOOD MEETS ART' IN BILBAO

Ahead of the anxiously awaited World's 50 Best Restaurants award ceremony, world-class chefs and artists will put their heads together in a unique "Food meets Art" debate, presented by S.Pellegrinoon 18 June at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.

Massimo Bottura and Alain Passard will take to the stage to share ideas with worldwide renowned architect Giulio Cappellini and Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos on the crossover between food and art. The creative sparks are sure to fly in the exciting one-off discussion chaired by art curator and food expert Marta Arzak, also art advisor to restaurant Arzak, as leaders in their respective disciplines.

A gastronomic treat will follow, curated by one Michelin star Chef Josean Alija from Nerua restaurant, with a creative menu interpreting ‘The Journey of Water’, before an exclusive private tour of the Guggenheim Museum, where guests will be able to enjoy food while discovering art.

The occasion also serves as the perfect opportunity for S.Pellegrino to introduce its new special edition sparkling water bottles created by three international designers on the theme of ‘The Journey of Water’ with three iconic new labels.
