SEE THE AMAZING LINE-UP FOR #50BESTTALKS BILBAO
A veritable feast of top chefs will be hitting the stage for the next #50BestTalks event, held ahead of the World's 50 Best Restaurants 2018 in Bilbao.
Seven of the world's best chefs will be taking part in the invite-only talks, which this time around will focus on the theme of 'Life Cycle' and will be held on Sunday 17th June along the coast in San Sebastián, two days before the awards ceremony.
Chefs Gaggan Anand, Joan Roca, and Eneko Atxa will be taking part in a very special panel discussion with Farm Africa, on its Chefs for Change initiative and the supply chains behind the chefs' signature dishes, while Clare Smyth, who will receive the elit Vodka World’s Best Female Chef Award at the World's 50 Best Restaurants this year, will be talking about her solidly British menu at London's Core restaurant, and the challenges of stepping out on her own after years working for Gordon Ramsay.
Continuing on the theme of produce, Dan Barber of New York's Blue Hill at Stone Barns restaurant will be discussing his Row 7 Seed Company project, which aims to boost flavour at a seed level, and his constant drive for sustainability.
S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2018 sage Paul Pairet will also be there to discuss the ultra avant garde and highly secretive Ultraviolet, his multi-sensory restaurant experience in Shanghai, while pastry chef Christina Tosi, who features in the latest season of Chef's Table, will also be on hand to whip up a few signature cookies and discuss her work at Milk Bar.
