James Beard Awards: The 2018 Finalists

JAMES BEARD AWARDS: THE 2018 FINALISTS

The James Beard Foundation award finalists for 2018 were announced today in Philadelphia.

Some of the best chefs and restaurants were highlighted at the event, which is classed by many as the Oscars of food.

Jose Andres's nomination for Humanitarian of The Year - for the chef’s work in feeding the people of Puerto Rico - received a huge applause from the crowd.

The winners will be announced at the James Beard Awards gala dinner in Chicago on May 7th.
