Dishes from Taipei's New Michelin-Starred Restaurants

DISHES FROM TAIPEI'S NEW MICHELIN-STARRED RESTAURANTS

Taipei has just received its first ever Michelin Guide, as the French dining Bible seeks to make further inroads into the Asia market.

The big news is that the Taiwenese capital now has 20 starred restaurants, incuding a three star, and a host of Bib Gourmand recommendations for cheaper eats, including a selection of street food spots, continuing a trend that has seen Michelin award stars to street stalls in places like Bangkok and Singapore.

The list of starred restaurants is a mix of Taiwanese, Cantonese, Chinese, Japanese, and modern European restaurants, with stars for restaurants from the likes of chefs André Chiang, Richie Lin, and Joël Robuchon.

Enjoy pics from Taipei's new three and two star restaurants below.
