4 EXCITING NEW RESTAURANT OPENINGS IN PARIS 2018



If you're heading to Paris this year there are some sparkling new restaurant openings to look out for.

Fans of the world's best patissier Cédric Grolet will be excited to hear he's setting up shop in Paris, while other favourites expanding like Helene Daroze are expanding their empire.

Take a look and see where you could be feasting in the city of light this spring.

New Restaurant Openings Paris

1. Patissier Cédric Grolet to open his own Patisserie in Paris



Cédric Grolet, named the best patissier in the world 2017 as well as being pastry chef at the Hotel Meurice in Paris, is slated to open up shop in Paris this year.

The young pastry chef will present his creations in the Rue de Castiglione, in the 1st district of Paris. While it's still under wraps about the particulars the patissier will be conjuring up we only know that they will be different from those of Le Meurice - where Cédric Grolet will also continue to work.

2. Jean Imbert opens his third address of Les Bols de Jean



Jean Imbert opens a third address in the rue de la Boétie in the 8th arrondissement of the capital, on Saturday 20 January.

The principle of Bols de Jean remains the same: homemade and seasonal dishes served in bread bowls imagined by the famous baker Eric Kayser. Gourmets can thus find the "vegetarian bowl", the "bowl of the market", the "bowl of Brittany" or the "bowl of the chef", to enjoy from Monday to Saturday, noon and evening.

3.Hélène Darroze



Star chef, since Helen Darroze should open very soon a new restaurant in Paris. According to Le Figaro, this new establishment will be located in the 2nd arrondissement of the capital. This future address will not be Hélène Darroze's first restaurant in Paris - The chef already has an eponymous gourmet restaurant in the 6th arrondissement as well as The Connaught in London, awarded two stars in the Michelin Guide.

4. Mark Veyrat



Marc Veyrat is expanding his empire. Having reopened La Maison des Bois in November 2016 and inaugurated its Rural restaurant in April 2017 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris, the chef in the hat will continue his adventures in 2018. According to our colleagues on the Atabula site , Marc Veyrat would indeed open two new restaurants "Rural" in the course of the year. One of these two establishments will open in Paris, although where is still a secret. The concept will also be exported to Lyon, in the district of Part Dieu.
