WINNING SHOTS FROM THE SIENA INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS
A selection of amazing food-inspired pictures from the 2017 edition of the international photo contest held in the Tuscan city of Siena, Italy.
Only in its third year, the Siena International Photography Awards has already become a prestigious event for photography lovers receiving nearly 50.000 images from amateur and professional photographers from 161 countries worldwide.
An international jury crowned Sandhill Cranes by Randy Olson, a renowned National Geographicphotographer, as the 2017 winning image, while Ami Vitale, an American photographer who also collaborated with the magazine, won the Storytelling category and the prestigious title of Best Author 2017.
From 29 October to 31 December 2017, the photo exhibition Beyond the Lens, held in Siena, will showcase the award-winning photographs and the best pictures of the 2017 Siena International Photo Awards.
