14 DISHES FROM SPAIN'S NEW THREE-STAR MICHELIN RESTAURANTS
The Michelin Stars for Spain 2018 have been announced with the country now boasting two new, three-starred restaurants. ABaC in Barcelona and Aponiente in Cádiz.
This takes Spain’s total number of three-starred restaurants to 11. A strong count that includes Akelarre, Arzak, Azurmendi, DiverXO, El Celler de Can Roca, Lasarte, Martin Berasategui en Guipúzcoa, Quique Dacosta and Sant Pau.
The Aponiente restaurant is run by chef Ángel León who is famous for his focus and control over ingredients of the sea. It’s a restaurant where you can sample every element of the marine food chain and a place where dishes may not be what they first appear, thanks to León’s creative approach to plating.
