THIS APP LETS YOU EASILY SHARE RESTAURANT RECOMMENDATIONS
PHOTO TRUFFLE/FACEBOOKWe all love to give restaurant recommendations. So why not share easily via an app? That’s the premise of Truffle, an app that lets you share restaurant recommendations with friends and followers.
You choose your favourites, which are organised in terms of location, and for ease of use you can even share your list in iMessage without having to leave the latter app, which is a new update by all accounts (Truffle is only available for IOS currently).
If one of your favourites matches with someone you’re following, the app will let you know: great for organising a dinner with friends; slightly creepy/a great networking opportunity if it's just someone you follow.
Clicking on a restaurant will pull up all the information you need too, such as price, directions, etc. The app will suggest 'tastemakers' to follow when you sign-up – whether you choose to trust their recommendations is a tricky one of course, given the opportunity for the restaurants to influence them.
But it sounds like a useful app and if you love to shout about great restaurants, this could be the app for you.
