DIDN'T YOU HEAR THE CRY FROM GAZA ?

Didn't you hear the cry from Gaza ?

Can't you smell the fishy blood spilled over there ?

Day or night falling bombs

and debris scattered

sow hatred .

But the world does not speak

moon turned away

only the sun's wrath

burns Gaza ,

The wind was blowing restless without direction

when thousands of families broken apart

and love to be in vain

no place in Gaza .

Didn't you hear the cry ?

Didn't you smell the fishy blood?

TIDAKKAH KAU DENGAR TANGIS DARI GAZA ?

Tidakkah kau dengar tangis dari Gaza ?

Tidakkah kau cium amis darah tertumpah disana ?

Siang atau malam bom berjatuhan

dan puing-puing berserakan

menyemai kebencian.

Tapi dunia tak bicara

bulan memalingkan muka

hanya matahari murka

membakar Gaza,

Angin bertiup resah tanpa arah

ketika ribuan keluarga pecah terpisah

dan cinta menjadi sia-sia

tanpa tempat di Gaza.

Tidakah kau dengar tangis ?

Tidakkah kau cium bau amis ?
