Stressed about hosting Thanksgiving? Not sure when and where to start with the preparations and not sure what to cook for Thanksgiving?
The countdown to Thanksgiving can seem overwhelming. At least it did, until we came across this handy Thanksgiving planner from Splendid Table which simplifies the multitude of tasks.
It lays out the key activities to be tackled in chronological order, up to, and including the big day. The three main elements being, the turkey, hosting and sides, all of which are all covered in parallel in the infographic giving the stressed host a definitive "to do" list in the build-up.
While defrosting the turkey might seem like common sense, it's easy to underestimate how long it actually takes the mighty bird to thaw. Likewise, you might not have factored time for two pre-Thanksgiving shopping trips or making your home suitably welcoming.
