Death is not the greatest loss in life

Death is not the greatest loss in life,
The greatest loss is what dies inside while still alive,
Sometimes we give up
Their is no magical rope that can pull us up from our problems
Life only offers solution to which only we can discover

But I had not understood, Maybe I was too young to understand
I had a voice yet I was unable to speak
I had the strength yet I felt weak
I had given up on everything life had to offer me
not once but twice, rejection had wounded me

I felt ashamed that life is not meant for me
nor did it satisfy my needs
but now that I'm grown I understand
Life gives us what we do not expect
That's what mother said to me
through my days that were weak
I learnt that life is challenging yet unique
