20 PICS FROM THE NEW NOMA
Noma, the pinoeering Copenhagen restaurant that has claimed the title of World's Best four times, has finally re-opened at a new much larger site in the city, with a new menu dedicated to the best in Northern European seafood.
Having been closed for close to a year, and with René Redzepi and the team popping up in Mexico in the interim, Noma 2.0 was finally unveiled on 16 February. Housed on a considerably more rugged plot of land in the city's harbour, the new Noma has a total of 11 buildings, including three greenhouses, a fermentation lab, meat storage facilities and eventually, the Wall Street Journal reports, a 2100 square foot garden.
If you've been following the build-up to the relaunch you'll know that the new Noma menu will change completely with the seasons: vegetables in the summer, game in the autumn, and right now, as mentioned, its seafood. Thus the very excited first diners at the reluanched restaurant have been sharing their pics online using #nomaocean, as selection of which you can see below.
Jellyfish and pinecones are just a couple of the ingredients that people have been hashtagging the hell out out of already.
