How to Sprout Almost Anything

HOW TO SPROUT ALMOST ANYTHING

It’s surprising how much food you can easily grow at home on your kitchen counter, it’s also surprising that more people don’t do it when you see just how easy it can be.

The video below, produced by Tasty, sets out to explain how to sprout almost anything at home with some simple cheesecloth, a mason jar, some water and some seeds, beans or grains.

Lentils, chickpeas, mung beans, rice, even sesame seeds can easily be sprouted using this simple technique.

Why? First of all it offers up a whole new flavor for foods you already know and love but sprouting is also said to offer up great health benefits, and doing it yourself at home is much more affordable than the expensive store bought sprouted ingredients.
