21 Dishes and Pics From Singapore's Newly Starred Restaurants

21 DISHES AND PICS FROM SINGAPORE'S NEWLY STARRED RESTAURANTS

Singapore now has five new one-Michelin-starred restaurants after the unveiling of the Michelin Guide to Singapore 2018, taking the total of Singapore Michelin restaurants to 39.

The new one stars are Burnt Ends, an Australian barbecue restaurant in Singapore's Chinatown district, which currently sits at number 12 on the Asia's 50 Best Restaurants list; Jiang-Nun Chun, which offers classic Cantonese cuisine in the luxurious surrounds of the Four Seasons; Ma Cuisine, a wine-forward gastro-bar serving French Bergundian cusine; Nouri, where former Fat Duckdevelopment chef Ivan Brehm is pushing a global cuisine he calls "Crossroads cooking"; and Sushi Kimura, a 22-seat Edomae spot.

While there may be no new two or three star restaurants in the Guide this year, as you can see from some of the dishes below, these exciting newly Michelin-starred Singapore restaurants could be moving up the rankings again next year.
