WOMEN IN GASTRONOMY: 12 TOP FEMALE CHEFS TALK FOOD





A selection of world-class female chefs will gather for the first ever global conference and food tasting forum at the S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna sponsored Women in Gastronomy (WIG), at The Sukhothai Hotel Bangkok on 8 March 2018.

Co-inciding with International Woman's Day, the one of a kind culinary gathering will combine a day-long conference with dynamic chef talks, presentations, cooking demos and interactive panel discussions about the evolving role of women in the field of global gastronomy. And, last but by no means least, a lot of amazing food.

12 WORLD CLASS CHEFS COOK A 12 COURSE GOURMET LUNCH
A 12-course gourmet lunch will definitely be on of the highlights of the day, in which over a dozen of the world's leading female chefs will each prepare and present one course, sharing a personal backstory behind the dish.

Nooror Somany-Steppe from Blue Elephant
Duangporn “Bo” Songvisava from Bo.lan
Garima Arora from Gaa
Phatchara “Pom” Pirapak from Saneh Jaan
Saki Hoshino from 80/20
Chudaree “Tam” Debhakam from Top Chef Thailand.

Guest chefs coming from around the world include:
Ana Roš from Hisa Franko, Kobarid, Slovenia (who currently holds the title of “World’s Best Female Chef”)
Cristina Bowerman from the Michelin-starred Glass Hosteria in Rome, Italy
Martina Caruso from the Michelin-starred Hotel Signum on Salina Island, Italy

In between dishes Ana Roš will make a keynote speech plust a special presentation will be made by Maria Canabal of Parabere Forum on“Driving Gender Balance in Kitchens”.
