Here are the 7 world-renowned chefs who will be the jurors for the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2018 competition. They will judge the dishes of 21 global finalists.
S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2018: Meet the Grand Jury

The jurors have been named: Annie Féolde, Virgilio Martínez, Dominique Crenn, Brett Graham, Ana Roš, Paul Pairet and Margarita Forés will be the seven top international chefs judging the Grand Finale of S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2018.

Known as the Seven Sages, these seven gastronomic greats will cast their opinion on the signature dishes of the 21 finalists from all corners of the world, ultimately crowning the S.Pellegrino Young Chef2018.

Ahead of the Grand Finale, which will take place from 11 to 13 May 2018 in Milan, we take a look at the impressive list of chefs from four different continents who will influence the future of this edition’s talented up-and-coming culinary stars.

Annie Féolde
Enoteca Pinchiorri, Italy
Annie Féolde was the first woman to hold three Michelin stars outside of France. She runs the prestigious Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence, Italy, with husband Giorgio.

Virgilio Martínez
Central, Peru
Passionate about his native Peru, Virgilio Martínez, is one of Latin America’s new generation chefs. His eponymous Central restaurant in Lima took the top spot on Latin America’s 50 Best restaurants for three consecutive years as well as being listed for three years in the top five of The World’s Best Restaurants. In 2017 he was also awarded the Chefs’ Choice Award.

Dominique Crenn
Atelier Crenn, US
The two-Michelin starred French chef is a force to be reckoned with on the US West Coast with her trailblazing San Francisco restaurants: Atelier Crenn, Petit Crenn and the much anticipated Bar Crenn. She was also mentor to last edition's S.Pellegrino Young Chef winner, Mitch Lienhard and featured in Season 2 of Netflix Chef’s Table.

Brett Graham
The Ledbury, UK
The Australian chef Brett Graham first cut his culinary teeth down under before making name for himself at two Michelin starred restaurant, The Ledbury in London, which also appears on The World’s 50 Best Restaurant list.

Ana Roš
Hiša Franko, Slovenia
The entirely self-taught chef Ana Roš is an ambassador for Slovenian cuisine in her family-run restaurant on the Italian/Slovenian border. Her drive, natural talent and ambition saw her named The World’s Best Female Chef in 2017.

Paul Pairet
Ultraviolet, China
Known for his avant-garde cuisine pushing boundaries, Paul Pairet was awarded the Chefs’ Choice Award in 2016. He became well known for his multi-sensory take on dining at his Michelin starred Shanghai flagship restaurant.

Margarita Forés
Cibo, The Philippines
Chef Forés runs a restaurant empire in the Philippines which began with the Cibo di Marghi Signature Catering and the opening of her first modern Italian restaurant, Cibo, in 1997. In 2012, Forés, who originally trained in Italy, opened the first ever Asian Campus of the renewed Italian culinary school Casa Artusi and in 2016 was voted Asia’s Best Female Chef.
