JP MCMAHON'S CHEF SWAP AT ANIAR DINNERS #CHEFSWAP

Fans of JP McMahon and his Michelin starred restaurant Aniar now have another excuse to visit this gourmet Galway address, with an exciting array of chef swaps programmed this year.

With four international guest chefs already in the calendar, from New York to Moscow, each visiting chef will join JP in his Aniar kitchen to create a unique multi-course menu for the occasion.

Speaking of the event the chef who also runs the Food on the Edge symposium said, “The purpose of Chef Swap at Aniar is to bring different chefs to Aniar in order to showcase their food and philosophy.”

Each of the Chef Swap at Aniar dinner menus follows the same menu format as the regular Aniar menu with a choice of up to 6, 8 or 10 courses. For the full programme see below.

The Irish chef is also making headlines for another reason this year, with chef de partie, Killian Crowley from Aniar, winning the UK and Ireland regional heat of S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2018. The young ambassador for Irish food will now get the chance to represent the region with his dish of turbot, kohlrabi and sea purslane in Milan in May 2018.
