WHEN FOOD AND FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY MEET

A selection of amazing food and fashion inspired pictures from the 2017 edition of the Festival International de la Photographie Culinaire.

The Festival International de la Photographie Culinaire is a creative event bringing two worlds together: food and photography. It's "Le festival du Beau et du Bon": the Festival of Beauty and Good.

Since its first edition in 2009, the festival focus has been on current trends that are shaking up the world of gastronomy, making it an important rendez-vous for food and photo enthusiasts and collectors.

Each edition of the festival highlights the work of professional photographers from around the world. Their pictures draw attention to the rich diversity of food, the rhythm of the seasons and the seasonality of ingredients, the arts of the table and international culinary traditions.

GASTRONOMY & HAUTE COUTURE

In this 8th edition of the Festival, Haute Couture is the main source of inspiration: 40 photographers from around the world have been invited to submit 3 photos that explore the relationship between food and fashion.

From November 2017 to March 2018, the photo exhibition will be travelling to different towns, from Paris to Geneve, Lyon and Bordeaux, until its last stop in Valençay. You can find the complete program on the Festival’s website, clicking here.
