SOUTH AFRICA'S 10 BEST RESTAURANTS REVEALED
All the big names in the restaurant industry were gathered for the glamorous Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Restaurant Awards on Sunday 19 November at the Grand Arena at Grand West in Cape Town, South Africa.
In an Oscars style ceremony The Test Kitchen in Cape Town with chef Luke Dale-Roberts at the helm was once again awarded Restaurant of the Year, a title it has held for an impressive six consecutive years.
Chantel Dartnall's Restaurant Mosaic at The Orient in Pretoria was awarded second place, while the Restaurant at Waterkloof with head chef Gregory Czarnecki in Somerset West remained in third place.
The 2017 Eat Out S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna Chef of the Year went to Liam Tomlin of Chefs Warehouse & Canteen (City Bowl, Cape Town).
