8 Dishes from Germany's Newest Three-Michelin-Star Restaurant

8 DISHES FROM GERMANY'S NEWEST THREE-MICHELIN-STAR RESTAURANT

The newly released Michelin Guide to Germany 2018 added an impressive third-Michelin-star to restaurant to the country’s already 10-strong offering: Atelier at the Hotel Bayerischer; in Munich.

The city’s only three-star restaurant has a chef in charge with considerable pedigree at this level: Jan Hartwig worked for seven years with Sven Elverfeld at Aqua in Wolfsburg, a restaurant that has itself held Michelin’s top honour for a decade.

Arriving at Atelier in 2014, Hartwig quickly won the restaurant one and then two stars with an elegant mix of European and Asian flavours, before finally achieving the top gong this year.

Take a look at some of the beautiful three-Michelin-star dishes below.
