WHAT'S ON AT MARGARET RIVER GOURMET ESCAPE
Famed for its worldclass wines, beaches and rugged bushland, the annual culinary extravaganza that unfolds in this picturesque pocket of South West Australia is simply its crowning glory.
This year's Margaret River Gourmet Escape takes place from 16 to 19 November with a schedule that looks set to hit new highs in the celebration of the region's wealth of wines and local producers in a series of dinners, masterclasses and tastings.
Some famous faces will be arriving in the area for the occasion, including Asia’s best female chef May Chow (Little Bao, Hong Kong), plus Alex Atala, Rick Stein, Dan Hong, Andre Chiang #14 on the World’s 50 Best and local favourite Matt Stone.
Australian favourite Curtis Stone will officially open the festival at the Audi Gourmet Beach BBQ on Thursday evening leading to a series of unmissable events over the duration.
With favourite events such as Feast in the Forest and Sunset, Beats & Bites returning to the programme, there are plenty of excuses to it call it a four day foodie holiday.
