Yannick Alléno to Host Fundraising Gala Dinner in Paris

YANNICK ALLÉNO TO HOST FUNDRAISING GALA DINNER IN PARIS




Chef Yannick Alléno of 3 Michelin Star restaurant Pavillon Ledoyen is set to host a fundraising gala dinner in aid of the "Refettorio Gastromotiva" initiative, the food waste project gathering global momentum and fronted by top Italian chef Massimo Bottura of Osteria Francescana.

Taking place on September 26, the Parisian chef will open the doors the doors of his luxury restaurant to 100 invited diners to enjoy a gourmet evening raising funds for the fourth phase of Gastromotiva Great Food for a Better World which first opened during the Olypmic Games in Rio de Janeiro this past year. Invites cost a cool €1800 and can be purchased at www.parisgala.com for an evening that starts with cocktail hour and a silent auction and finishes with a carefully curated dinner with wine pairing.

Diners will get the chance to bid on unusual items like fine tuning their cooking skills alongside chef Yannick Alléno (starting at 2000 euros) to honing their tasting skills on a whisky tour of Scotland (starting at 1000 euros) before tucking into the ensuing dinner. The menu includes several courses with dishes like langoustine and caviar paired with Krug champagne and wines from Petrus, Cheval Blanc, and Yquem, among others.

Previous editions of the series of dinners from Gastromotiva Great Food for a Better World took place in New York at Eleven Madison Park and The NoMad Bar, and in São Paulo with a menu designed by Michelin Star chefs Quique Dacosta, Virgílio Martinez, Renzo Garibaldi, and Mitsuharu Tsumura.
