Lyle's Chef Series of Dinners Features British Game


LYLE'S CHEF SERIES OF DINNERS FEATURES BRITISH GAME





Grouse, pheasant, hare and mallard are just some examples of the British game being showcased by six chefs during the exciting Lyle dinner series: Game which will take place on 15 and 16 Septemberat Lyle's London.

James Lowe will invite an international party of 5 chefs back to Lyle's restaurant fresh from a shooting trip in Scotland for the special occasion including: Petter Nilsson from Spiritmuseum in Stockholm, Victor Liong from Lee Ho Fook in Melbourne, Lisa Lov from Tigermom in Copenhagen, Trevor Moran from Nashville and David Posey from Elske in Chicago.

They'll each have a couple of days to develop and test their ideas before the dinners, for some it will be their first time working with game like this, while others will be more seasoned. Each chef will have the chance to put their signature spin on how to serve the best of British game, in new and sometimes unconventional ways. All will be revealed to the lucky diners on the night - both nights will differ with the chefs rotating between courses. Be quick to grab your spot.

If last year's menu is anything to go by, the creative juices will already be flowing. Dishes included: Girolles & Grouse Waffle from Rafa Costa e Silva (Lasai, Rio de Janeiro); Chongqing Fried Pheasant by Angela Dimayuga (Mission Chinese Food, NYC); Mallard ‘Hualien’ Style, Satsivi & Hazelnutsfrom Luke Burgess (Australia); and Grilled Chestnut Ice Cream & Hare Blood Chocolate by James Lowe.

Drinks-wise, there'll be a selection of wines to compliment the game, and Ryan Chetiyawardanaaka. Mr Lyan of Superlyan and Dandelyan, World’s Best Cocktail Bar, will design aperitivo cocktails with Craigellachie Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
