IDENTITÀ GOLOSE TO SHOWCASE ITALIAN FOOD STATESIDE




Prepare for the annual return of the famous S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna-sponsored Italian chef congress Identita Golose, as it makes an exciting foray stateside this October.

Increasing its American presence the haute cuisine congress will take on three USA cities this year: Boston, Chicago and New York.

Unmissable masterclasses, seminars and dinners prepared by the likes of Massimo Bottura, Virgilio Martinez and other visiting world class chefs are available to a ticketed public.

First up is Identità Chicago on 7 and 8 October where pizza takes centre stage, as an Italo-American team will showcase what Italy does best. New York will be hot on its heels taking place over three days from 10 to 12 October with an exciting dinner in Eataly's iconic Flatiron store. The inaugural edition of Identità Boston closes the stateside visit for this year, with a spectacular dinner on 13 October.

IDENTITÀ CHICAGO 2017 – 7-8 OCTOBER

Get up close and personal, learning the skills of pizza and pasta making from the combined mastery of four Italian and four US-based chefs at this Eataly located event.

Returning Italian chef Davide Oldani will be joined by Luciano Monosilio from Rome, plus Sicilian brothers Saverio and Vittorio Borgia – restaurateurs from Milan and Palermo, making their debut this year.

Corrado Scaglione and American chef Sarah Grueneberg, along with US-based pizza-makers Fernando Darin and Sarah Minnick, complete the line-up.

IDENTITÀ NEW YORK – 10-12 OCTOBER



Identita returns to NYC for its eighth edition with a memorable three day convention at the iconic Eataly Flatiron store with a world class guest chef line-up to boot.

Massimo Bottura, Eric Ripert, Enrico Cerea (Ambassador of East Lombardy, Italy – European Region of Gastronomy 2017) Virgilio Martinez, Ana Roš and Caterina Ceraudo will all be in town, re-visiting the theme of food waste with this year's theme “Don’t Wast the Planet: the Truth is in the Dish.”

Chef-led seminars and a progressive dinner, the one of a kind "Dine Around," make this edition an absolute must.

Six chefs will collaborate, leading guests on a culinary tour through the restaurants, where each chef will prepare a special course paired with wine. Guests will get to enjoy the work of the all star chef line-up firsthand, as well as being exposed to the latest techniques and trends that define today’s culinary world where waste and creativity will be key.

Bottura will also supervise a team of star chefs – Mario Batali, Eric Ripert and Carlo Mirarchi – over an evening designed to promote the activity of the Refettorio Ambrosiano which will be in New York this winter, following on from the success in Milan, Rio, and London.

IDENTITÀ BOSTON – 13 OCTOBER



Boston will host its inaugural event at Eataly with an impressive dinner featuring four famed chefs from across the globe: Caterina Ceraudo will arrive from the Old Continent to join Boston chefs Chris Fisher, Michael Schlow and Michele Carter where they will unite to pay respect to Italian products and know-how.

The chefs will partner up to deliver an epic five-course All Star Dinner matched with Italian wines.
