Umberto Bombana and Luca Fantin Four Hands Dinner



Highly accalimed Italian chef Umberto Bombana will be joining fellow compatriot-in-Asia, chef Luca Fantin for a special four hands dinner sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna at the latter’s restaurant in Tokyo this August.

Bombana, of the three-Michelin-star 8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo restaurant in Hong Kong, number four on the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list will be joining Fantin at Il Ristorante Luca Fantin at the Bulgari Ginza tower to cook, for two nights, the finest contemporary Italian cuisine on 25 and 26 August.

Chef Bombana, who also won the 2017 Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants The Diners Club® Lifetime Achievement Award, arrived in Hong Kong in 1993, where his was the first Italian restaurant to gain three Michelin stars outside of Italy. Meanwhile, Fantin is the only Italian chef in Tokyo to hold a Michelin star and is also a regional jury member and Japan mentor in the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2018 competition.
