Shanghai Dumplings Xiao Long Bao
The best I ever had. i didn't grow up on Xiao Long Bao but have eaten a lot here in Hong Kong and China.These wraps were cooked perfectly and didn't rip even when you picked them up so the Xiao Long Bao burst in your mouth when you bit into it - releasing sweet soupy juices....Excellent.
At Shanghai Street... all 8 plump juicy pieces... were perfect and I will be coming back for more!
"You know the dumplings are good here when you've burnt your lip from getting too excited to savor these little bad boys. The first thing you would probably notice from this store is the long queue outside this relatively tiny shop. A word of advice: don't be disheartened. The line goes on very quickly and it would probably be your turn in about 10-15 minutes"
Not forgetting the Tofu and Vermicelli Noodle soup...Wow great chicken broth, great noodles and perfect with the Xiao Long Bao!
